Welcome to The Reflexology & Pilates Studio

The Reflexology Studio evolved from the desire to help people get better naturally.  Susi in her search to find the ‘right’ therapy, knowing she would be made redundant the following year, found a one-day reflexology workshop in 1993. That’s all it took she was hooked on feet and their extraordinary way of ‘talking’ to her.

Training in 1995 at the Rainbow School Susi qualified as an AoR (Association of Reflexologists) Reflexologist.  Since then Susi has added a City and Guilds Teaching Certificate, Advanced Reflexology Techniques (ART), and a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry to her qualifications.

During a reflexology appointment Susi offers a keen listening skill and ‘wholistic’ approach to health by examining all elements of your life. ‘Wholism’ enables Susi to develop a series of appointments tailored to your needs. After all ‘getting better’ is achieved through healing the whole; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of self.

Although Reflexology is not a cure many people find their general state of wellbeing increases.

Originally a niche practice for dancers and athletes, Pilates gained popularity in the 1970s and 1980s thanks to Hollywood endorsements. Its global rise continued through the late 1990s and early 2000s. In the early 2000s, Susi became interested in Pilates after hearing about Princess Diana’s pilates regime in the media.

In January 2005, Susi began her own Pilates journey, not knowing where it would lead. Pilates wasn’t easy to learn as Susi being hypermobile could undertake most exercises with little pelvic/glute engagement. This was a challenge unlike most. For Susi it was about getting it right, going inside the body and listening to how it needed to move. Roll on six years and her tutor was moving on and encouraged Susi to train as a Pilates instructor. It took another year before Susi decided to train as a Pilates instructor with Pilates Training Solutions. Then in 2013 saw Susi start her classes in Swaffham and Binham. Since then, she has done retraining with Body Control Pilates. And so, The Reflexology Studio evolved into The Reflexology and Pilates Studio.
